Recycled Sari Silk Ribbon is a dream material for weavers, knitters, crocheters, artists, and anyone who loves working with fibre. Each skein begins its journey as waste silk rescued from sari manufacturing mills. It then finds new life in women’s cooperatives in rural India. There, the fabric is hand-dyed, torn into ribbons, sewn and knotted end to end and wound into skeins. The discarded textiles are transformed into vibrant, one-of-a-kind skeins with a story woven into every fibre.
